Beneath the Surface

Here are a few renderings from a commercial project I did in my second year of graduate school.  The project was designing an office for a marketing firm near the James River in Richmond, VA.  My concept for the project was "beneath the surface."  Ceiling mounted forms were created to both reveal/conceal the raw elements of the ceiling as well as function as light fixtures.  These forms were to represent the moments  where light breaks through the water and we are able to see beneath the surface.
